Becky
Love
grew up as an Air Force “brat”, and had the
wonderful privilege of experiencing many diverse cultures from a young
age. It was during their years living in
Japan
that she first developed a love for missions and a passion for ministry. She met her husband,
Jeff
Love
, while they were still teenagers in
Abilene
,
Texas
and married in the year 1978. After his graduation from
Baptist
Bible
College
in
Springfield
,
Missouri
,
they moved to
Boise
where Jeff took the position
of youth pastor at
Broadway
Avenue
Baptist
Church
in 1980. After fifteen years as youth pastor, the
Loves transitioned into adult and family ministry in 1995. Jeff became senior pastor in 2004.
Although active in church work, it is as a
wife and mother of three extraordinary children that Becky has found her highest
calling and life long passion. She
desires above everything to see her children, and those to whom she ministers,
to grow more and more in their love for Christ and knowledge of
the truth.
In
the years they have been on staff here, Becky has served on the high school
youth staff, as director of Children’s Ministries for seven years, and as
director of Women’s Bible Studies for twenty years. She became director of Women’s Ministries in
2006.
