Marcy is originally from Fort Wayne, Indiana where she grew up loving the Lord.  She has been married to her husband Jeremy since 1996 and they have a sweet little boy, Jackson, who was born in 2006.  Marcy received her bachelor’s in History, Religious Studies, and Women’s Studies from Indiana University and her master’s degree in Counseling from Creighton University (Omaha, Nebraska).  Marcy and Jeremy arrived in Boise in 2004 as they both began working at Boise State University (Jeremy is currently an Associate Professor of Criminal Justice and Marcy was the Coordinator of the Residential College Program).  She loves watching basketball (especially the Hoosiers!  Go IU!) and also enjoys going to the movies, attending musical theatre events, and reading novels (Bodie and Brock Thoene are among her favorite authors).

Marcy feels privileged to serve young families at Bridgepoint Church.  While in Omaha, Marcy, along with Jeremy, served as a member of the leadership team of a young marrieds community and volunteered in the nursery for five years.  Marcy has also acquired administrative and supervisory skills in the workforce with the Salvation Army Divisional Headquarters and Admissions/Residence Life at Creighton University. While at Bridgepoint, Marcy served for 1 year as a nursery staff member and loves the opportunity that has been given to her as Nursery Director.
