The Guest Central
Team is a part of our “First Impressions Ministry.” Volunteers need to have a
heart and passion for reaching out to all types of people God sends to
Broadway.
This
ministry centers around the idea that every guest who comes to a worship
service is prompted by God to be there. The job of the Guest Central Team is to make our first time
guests feel so welcome and wanted that the wall of uneasiness is broken down and
God is able to work in their life.
Most people
volunteer to serve one or two weekends a month.
The Guest Central
Team serves like this:
1. Team shows up 30
minutes prior to pray with Pastor Jeff.
2. Team is in the
lobby of the church 20 minutes prior to greet and look for guests. If they
meet any guests prior to the service, we tell them we'd like to give them a
guest gift bag and take them to the Guest Central Table. Exchange a gift
bag for them filling out a guest card.
3. The Team
has a seat in the service when it begins.
4. After the
invitation, the team needs to make their way to the lobby and man the Guest
Central table in a friendly manner. Ready to receive guests
cards, hand out gift bags and ask people to consider signing up for
"Starting Point."
